‘Quite a shock to me’: Offenders wield knives, break into Richmond property
The victim of an aggravated burglary in Richmond in the early hours of Saturday morning has spoken out, saying he was left shocked by the brazenness of what took place.
3AW Drive obtained vision of three offenders who gained access to the Laity Street property, where a PlayStation 5, a speaker and car keys were all stolen.
Rhys, who was in the house at the time but wasn’t awake when the burglary took place, told Jacqui Felgate he felt sorry for Victoria Police, who told him burglaries were commonplace in recent months.
