3AW Afternoons opened up the phone lines taking your calls on school teacher quirks.

Listeners shared their memories which included a science teacher who’d put pens up his nose, an English teacher who thought he was Leonard Cohen and even one teacher who threw hammers around the classroom!

There was one listener though who stole the show, a Ms McIntosh who revealed that she used to teach 3AW’s own Denis Walter!
