Psychologist explains why you should be using they/them when asked
A clinical psychologist says while it “might seem strange” for some people, using they/them pronouns when asked can make a real difference to health outcomes for those who identify that way.
“We do know these people are incredibly vulnerable to mental health problems and that using the correct pronoun that they identify actually leads to improvements in their overall wellbeing, their overall mental health,” Associate Professor Glen Hosking from La Trobe University said on 3AW Drive.
