Protester hanging off the roof of State Parliament
A protester remains on the roof of state parliament while three others have been arrested.
First heard as a late contributor to The Rumour File, Ross and John heard a man wearing high-vis gear was hanging from parliament with a sign which reads “Don’t fark the Kuark”.
The three other people were arrested trying to get onto the roof, but have since been released without charge.
The are around a dozen other protesters who remain at the front of the building, after dumping bins of mulch on parliament’s steps.
It’s in regards to what’s been dubbed 10 days of action – it started in response to the situation on Manus Island but this time they’re protesting about logging in native forests
