Pro-Palestinian protester reveals encampment won’t comply with university demands to dismantle

Deakin University has ordered students to dismantle a pro-Palestinian encampment located on the campus.

Protester, Jasmine, says the encampment will not comply the university’s demands.

“Instead we’re calling a rally to defend our encampment,” she told Tom Elliott.

She also criticised the Prime Minister who says a popular pro-Palestinian chant is hate speech.

“That’s disgusting from Albanese, just absolutely disgusting, that chant is not anti-Semitic, it is not hate speech,” she says.
