Anthony Albanese has promised three days of free childcare and that parents will no longer have to work or study to receive subsidies.

The Prime Minister said “this is the biggest investment by an Australian government ever in new childcare services”.

CEO of The Parenthood Georgie Dent joined 3AW Drive to discuss the childcare pledge by the Labor Government.

 “There are communities that do not have any or enough provision of early education and care,” Ms Dent said.

“The government is recognising that in those areas where providers can’t see the ability to make a profit, they tend not to set up there.”
