Primary school makes call for teachers after receiving no applications

Minyip Primary School in Victoria’s west is looking to hire two new teachers but has received no applications despite months of advertisements.

Principal of Minyip Primary School Julie Powell says applicants can expect a close knit school of 38 students and “beautiful” countryside scenery if they come to town.

“You know every kid very, very closely; they know you, and that’s wonderful. They’re all so respectful and just love coming to school,” she said.
