Premiership Tiger won’t be training again ‘for months’

Daniel Rioli is unlikely to care too much, given what happened last Saturday, but the Richmond livewire faces a serious setback heading towards next season.

Dr Peter Larkins said on 3AW that Rioli was unlikely to resume training until next year after suffering a foot fracture in the grand final.

“It’s certainly going to be months,” Doc Larkins said.

“If things go well, he’ll be going into training in January or February.”
