Preference whisperer Glenn Druery and Independent MP Catherine Cumming go head-to-head on 3AW Drive
Preference whisperer Glenn Druery has hit back at the now Independent MP Catherine Cumming, after comments she made about him on 3AW this morning.
A furious Ms Cumming listed several reasons as to why she quit Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party to Tony Jones, some of which appeared to contradict each other.
One of her claims was that preferences were stacked against her in order to help the Shooters, Farmers and Fishers party.
Glenn Druery told 3AW Drive host Justin Smith he would challenge the “manipulative” Ms Cumming to come on air and have a discussion with him.
“I didn’t trust her,” he said.
“She manipulated her way through pre-selection, she was the golden child in everyone’s eyes and she kept talking about how loyal she was going to be.
“Look at what’s happened, she wasn’t even sworn in and she’s gone.
“I would say this, she is very, very good at the game of manipulation.”

This morning Ms Cumming accused Tony Jones of not understanding the election process, something Mr Druery remarked at with some skepticism.
“I would challenge Catherine Cumming to come on air and have a discussion with me about the group voting ticket, and we’ll see what she knows,” he said.
But the saga didn’t end there, with both Ms Cumming and Mr Druery’s going head-to-head in a heated conversation on 3AW Drive.
Ms Cumming labelled Mr Druery a “very angry man” and someone “you couldn’t trust”.
“I didn’t realise what an arrogant man he is,” she said.
But Mr Druery fired back in a tense exchange.
“History will not be kind for Catherine Cumming,” he said.
