Port Adelaide chairman David Koch explains the decision the play in China

Port Adelaide Chairman David Koch has explained his club’s decision to explore the Chinese market.

On Thursday, the Power announced they could host a match for Premiership points in China as soon as 2017.

Koch said his club wants to show ambition.

‘Why can’t we take our unique game overseas?’ Koch asked Sports Today.

‘It’s just like so many Australians visit the United States and want to see an NBA game.’
