Poll: Country Victoria turns on Andrews government
A new poll shows Daniel Andrews would lose power if an election was held today, with regional Victoria snubbing the government.
The Galaxy poll published in the Herald Sun shows Labor would lose up to 15 seats if an election was held today.
The poll has been commissioned by a national group that did not want to be identified.
It has Labor trailing the Coalition 47-53 on a two-party basis.
58 percent of regional voters said the government has not done enough for country jobs.
But it’s not all bad news for Daniel Andrews; the poll shows he remains the preferred Premier over Matthew Guy.
