Politicians around the country have been warned not to copy Donald Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ rhetoric as the countdown begins to this year’s federal election.

Political figures such as Clive Palmer have been using similar slogans to the US President to try to lure voters in Australia.

But it’s a political play that Shane McInnes isn’t a fan of.
