Police release images as hunt continues after shopping centre sexual assault

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted in broad daylight at a supermarket in Preston.

Investigators say a man followed the 38-year-old woman and groped her as she walked into a shopping centre.

She confronted him, asking him what he thought he was doing and then continued on her way.

The man followed her into an aisle in the supermarket, where he grabbed her before she pushed him away with her shopping basket. 

He then hit her over the head with a bottle he was carrying.

CCTV images have been released of man police wish to speak to who is described as Caucasian, possibly aged in his 40s, with missing teeth and a receding hairline.
