Elderly man bashed in terrifying Melton home invasion
Police are investigating a violent home invasion in Melton, which left a 92-year-old man with injuries.
Police say one of the intruders entered the bedroom of the Henry Street home around 11pm on May 26 and held the elderly man down, punching him and demanding drugs.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant from Melton CIU, Mick Conway, spoke on how the victims are holding up from the incident and claimed the thugs got the wrong house.
