Police investigate shooting in Melbourne’s west

A man has been shot at Brookfield in Melbourne’s west.

A 20-year-old man, with a gun shot wound to his lower body, took himself to hospital at Bacchus Marsh just after 12.30am on Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating.

A crime scene has been set up on Clarkes Road.
