Police incident throws train network into chaos ahead of MCG blockbuster

Tens of thousands of footy fans battled to get to the MCG on time on Friday night after a police request between Flinders Street and Southern Cross station threw Melbourne’s train network into chaos.

Commuters were told to expect major delays, as a result.
