Police break up ugly brawl between groups in Collingwood

There’s been an ugly brawl involving weapons in Collingwood on Friday afternoon.

3AW Drive was alerted to the brawl involving up to 15 people on Hoddle Street by several listeners.

They described two groups of African appearance clashing in a park.

It’s believed one person was struck with a baseball bat.

Police arrived and needed to deploy OC spray to bring the situation under control.

No arrests have been made but the investigation is ongoing.
