Step forward for national standardised transport laws

A long-winded fight to standardise transport laws across the nation has ended in the unveiling of a national class 1 agricultural vehicle and combination notice.

The new legislation removes the need to apply for council permits when moving agricultural machinery on public roads across much of the country.
