Soon your mobile phone could test your blood
Forget the trip to the doctor, soon you could be using your phone to test water, blood, saliva and urine samples.
Researchers at La Trobe University’s Institute for Molecular Science have found a way to turn mobile phones into pocket-sized testing labs, using just a paper strip, and the phone’s microphone and audio jack.
This morning Ross and John spoke to Associate Professor Conor Hogan, one of the researchers who has worked on the phone hack.
