Queensland Growers Assess Flood Damage

It will take months for farmers to get back on their feet after flooding decimated crops across Queensland’s Wide Bay and Burnett regions.

Sugarcane, cotton and tropical fruit crops have been destroyed with the damage bill expected to be well into the millions.

Rural Reporter, Sarah Boorer speaks about the recovery efforts with Canegrowers Maryborough spokesman Isaac Schmidt.
