Police arrest three people Southland Shopping centre

Police have confirmed they’ve arrested three people at Southland Shopping centre.

3AW was flooded with calls about the heavy police presence.

Listener John called in and told Tom Elliott he just saw police put a man down on the ground.

“Police just put a guy on the ground in the front yard of a house on Chesterville Road, directly opposite Southland,” said John.

“They’ve certainly caught somebody!”

Police couldn’t confirm what the people were arrested for.
