Overseas milk supply dwindling

Rabobank’s latest Global Dairy Report shows global milk production is falling at levels not seen in almost a decade.

It says bad weather is causing milk supply in Australia and New Zealand to dwindle – while producers in the US and Europe are being hampered by tight profit margins.

I caught up with senior dairy analyst Michael Harvey to discuss the factors driving sluggish growth – and the impacts it could have on consumers.
