New Zealand is experiencing a potato shortage

New Zealand is in the middle of a potato shortage.

A surplus of rain since March has made potato farming untenable, affecting the production of potato chips (which they call “crisps”).

CEO of Potatoes New Zealand Chris Claridge told Tom Elliott frozen fries have not been affected.
