Jewellery store owner donates $5000 to launch basketball team for troubled African youths

A Melbourne Jewellery store owner and robbery victim has donated $5000 to help launch a basketball team for troubled African youths.

Garry Holloway of Holloway Diamonds told 3AW’s Nick McCallum why he decided to help.

“We need to give them hope,” he said.
