Is Facebook going into the movie business?
The business sector is alight with rumours that Facebook is in talks with the Hollywood agencies looking to create their own original content.
Julianna Roadley from Commsec told Australia Overnight that short sharp online videos may be a way of the future.
“Most people on Facebook watch something for about three seconds then click onto the next story,” Ms Roadley said.
The project is looking unlikely as Facebook shares have fallen on the back of that news.
