Tom Elliott has helped a mother recover over $5,000 from the Sage Institute.
Amber Wilson paid Sage $5,490 in tuition fees on behalf of her son in February. Sage took the payment despite going into administration the day before.
Amber requested repayment from Sage but they never responded, so 3AW contacted them as well.
On Tuesday, they finally relented and will refund all of the money bar a $100 deposit paid earlier.
“I can’t thank you enough,” she said.
“For months, I never got a response.”
