High-grade ingredients stemming from agricultural waste

An Australian manufacturer is planning to use agricultural waste, like sugarcane husks and grape mare, to produce high-quality ingredients for the food and cosmetic sectors.

Food waste costs the country around $36 billion a year.

Rural reporter Meg Van Lohuizen spoke with Chief Executive Rod Lewis to hear how changing waste into raw materials will help address the issue, and benefit producers.
