Grants to fund community connection during drought

Applications are open for grants to fund projects which strengthen community networks and capabilities, during droughts.

Nearly 200 local government areas in remote, rural and regional areas are eligible nationwide.

Rural reporter Ella Smith spoke to the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal’s Senior Program Manager Richard Meredith about what sorts of projects could be funded, and the importance of investing in community connections.
