Fires cause fish kills
While rain has been welcomed in fire impacted regions over the past week, it has seen fish kills in the Upper Murray River.
Ash and sediment has been washed into waterways resulting in fish dying.
In response basin governments are trying to relocate native fish, install aerators and strategically release water.
