Farmland value grows for sixth consecutive year
The volume of farmland being sold in Australia has hit the lowest level in at least 25 years, down by more than 13 percent in 2019.
Rural Bank’s 25 year old Farmland Values Report also found the value of Australian farmland increased to $5,271 dollars per hectare.
Rural editor Eddie Summerfield caught up with Head of Sales East Jonathan Hewitt who says it marks the sixth consecutive year of growth.
