Farmers await findings of ACCC supermarket probe
Farmers are appealing to Supermarket shareholders to ensure their boards and management teams are engaging with the competition watchdog’s report into checkout prices.
The National Farmers Federation says shareholders have a role to play in bringing supermarket back into line with community expectations, and wants them to use their influence.
Rural Reporter Emily Minney spoke with The federation’s Horticulture Council Chairman Jolyon Burnett, who says they expect shareholders to cooperate with the probe.
