Denis Walter chats with Split Enz keyboardist Eddie Rayner

Split Enz keyboardist Eddie Rayner is putting his incredible talent to good use with a new show.

Back in 1996, Split Enz teamed up with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra for a unique concert series, but this time Rayner’s trying something different.

He popped in for a chat with Denis Walter to talk more about it.

“You’re going to hear the Split Enz songs but played with a different combo, I call it the enzemble,” he said.

Denis also asked Rayner about playing the mellotron, and if a reunion was on the cards for the popular New Zealand rock band.

ENZO: The Music of Split Enz is on 17 November at the Arts Centre in Melbourne.
