Caroline Wilson launches scathing attack on Gillon McLachlan’s leadership

Caroline Wilson has launched a scathing attack on Gillon McLachlan’s leadership style on 3AW Football.

Caro was subjected to a horrible phone call from a senior AFL executive after her article naming the women involved in the AFL’s recent scandal.

“I suffered a huge backlash from the AFL. It was highly inappropriate,” Caro said.

She said Gillon should have called her himself.

“I don’t like the CEO distancing himself, not getting his hands dirty,” Caro said.

“Maybe that is the way Gillon McLachlan and his team do business now.”
