Australia’s Largest Goat Research Project
The country’s largest goat research project is about to get underway.
Spread out over five years, the $3.7 million dollar project will monitor 15 thousand goats across 15 commercial farms in the nation’s east.
It’s taking advantage of a “transformative stage” in the industry, to see how farm productivity can be improved.
Rural reporter Madelaine McNeill caught up with Meat and Livestock Australia’s Sheep and Goat Productivity manager Joe Gebbels to find out more about the project.
