Australia says ‘thanks’ to volunteers

Australia’s 3.6 million volunteers are being recognised for the countless hours they dedicate to the community.

Kim Hill has won the New South Wales Volunteer of the Year award for her work as a firefighter.

She’s told Luke Grant she began volunteering when she was 14, and is encouraging all Aussies to give volunteering a go.
