ACT Chief Minister responds to Canberra being named third best city to visit in the world

Canberra has been named the third-best city to visit in the world.

Respected travel guide Lonely Planet placed our capital behind only Seville and Detroit on its list of the Top 10 cities to see in 2018.

And the ACT’s leader is not surprised.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr told Neil Mitchell they’ve spent a decade transforming the city.

“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the last ten years,” Mr Barr said.

“I just encourage people to come and have a look for yourself.”
