Plane turns back to Tullamarine airport after mid-air discovery

A pilot has turned back to Tullamarine after a mid-air scare this morning.

The Launceston-bound Jetstar flight was aborted when the the pilot noticed a hydraulics issue.

He turned around and landed in Melbourne without incident.

Jetstar is now working on getting the passengers to Launceston.
