Peter Pan star Hugh Jackman reckons he’s ‘pretty boring’
Hugh Jackman sat down with 3AW entertainment reporter Donna Demaio to discuss his take on Blackbeard in the epic adventure/fantasy Pan.
The film is directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) and traces the beginnings of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie.
Levi Miller stars as Peter, the mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak.
He teams up with Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) to defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard to save Neverland and discover his true destiny and become Peter Pan.
Jackman discusses his passion for family and film while reflecting on getting into character and trying not to scare the kids.
And makes the insightful admission that he thinks he’s pretty boring.
The movie opens across Australian cinemas September 24.
