Peter Ford weighs in on Tracy Grimshaw ‘snubbing’ Ally Langdon

An awkward interaction between Tracy Grimshaw and her A Current Affair replacement, Ally Langdon, was caught on film last week.

Footage shows staff farewelling Tracy after she signed off from the show for the final time. After hugging several people, Grimshaw approaches Ally Langdon, who has her arms outstretched, and walks past her.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford says Tracy “did kind of snub her, but it certainly wasn’t any sort of intentional snub”.

“If you look at it all back, and I’ve looked at it about 25 times, she’s clearly quite dazed by what’s going on,” Mr Ford said.

“There’s no issue whatsoever, you don’t need to know too much about Tracy to know that’s not how she plays, and even if there was some sort of issue she would never play it out publicly like that anyway.”
