Peter Ford casts doubt on Molly Meldrum’s Elton excuse

Molly Meldrum denies he intentionally mooned the audience at Sir Elton John’s AAMI Park show on Friday night.

Mr Meldrum arrived at the venue in a wheelchair and was crowd surfed onto the stage, bypassing security. Once on stage he made his way towards Elton John and dropped his trousers.

He denies the incident was intentional, but entertainment reporter Peter Ford says something doesn’t add up.

“That’s up there with the dog ate my homework,” he told Ross and Russel.
