Pete Ford slams ‘hate campaign’ currently unfolding around former Today Show host

Entertainment reporter Pete Ford has leapt to the defence of TV presenter and former Today Show host Georgie Gardner.

She is reportedly under investigation for an alleged altercation with another staff member, but Pete Ford says he doesn’t understand why she’s been the subject of so much media attention.

“I just can’t see why this story is getting a daily run,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

“It seems like some hate campaign going on. She doesn’t consider her workplace to be a social club and a lot of people do these days.”
