Pete Ford: Geoffrey Rush story is ‘just one totally vague complaint’

Entertainment reporter Pete Ford has told Ross and John the allegation against Geoffrey Rush is “very questionable”.

It follows reports in The Daily Telegraph, that Rush is being accused of “inappropriate behaviour” during the Sydney Theatre Company’s recent production of King Lear.

“We’re getting into very questionable turf here,” Pete told 3AW Breakfast.

“Look at the Don Burke investigation at the Sydney Morning Herald, it took weeks and weeks of investigative journalism.

“Just getting one totally vague complaint and putting it on your front page does enormous damage to people.”
