Man dies after being hit by truck in Richmond

A 35-year-old man has died after being hit by a truck on the corner of Bridge Road and Church Street in Richmond at about 10:30am this morning.

Ambulance Victoria has since confirmed the man was taken to the Alfred.

The driver of the truck wasn’t injured and has spoken with police.

Investigators are trying to piece together exactly what happened, urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the collision to contact Crime Stoppers.
