‘People were just screaming’: Drama on Jetstar plane as passenger opens emergency door

A Jetstar passenger has been arrested after pulling off the emergency door of a flight between Sydney and Melbourne on Thursday morning.

Minutes after JQ507 touched down at Melbourne Airport, the door was flung open by the passenger, with chaos unfolding on the plane shortly after.

Audrey was on the plane and described the scary scenario which took place on the plane shorting after it landed.

“My heart sank immediately,” she said on 3AW Mornings.

“People were just screaming because of how strange this behaviour was.”
