Paul Little explains plan to run ferry from Portarlington to Melbourne

Plans are on track for a ferry service to run between Portarlington and Melbourne.

Trials are set to start from Wyndham early in the new year.

Essendon Chairman Paul Little is one of those behind the plan.

He told Neil Mitchell some infrastructure work is needed at Portarlington, so the service will initially run from Wyndham.

‘It can certainly work and it’s certainly needed,’ Mr Little said.
