Patrick Cripps issues ominous warning ahead of pre-season return

Carlton captain Patrick Cripps has told 3AW he’s got “itchy feet” and will return to training a few weeks before he’s required to.

Cripps said Carlton’s young brigade of players were due to return on November 21, with senior players not required back at the club until next month.

“I reckon I’ll start up with them (on the 21st), I’ve had enough time off,” Cripps said on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports.

And it sounds like he won’t be alone.
