Passenger ‘still shaking’ after engine explosion on board plane at Sydney Airport

An engine failure has forced a Qantas flight to make an emergency landing at Sydney Airport this afternoon, with a passenger detailing the dramatic ordeal.

Today Show Producer, Georgina Lewis, said she’s “still shaking” after the experience, with other passengers having no idea there was a fire on the runway.

“I’m so grateful to be back on land I can tell you that right now,” Ms Lewis told Tony Moclair on 3AW Afternoons.
