Parents push for new speed zones outside kindergartens

Parents at a Camberwell kindergarten are lobbying to have speed limits outside all kinders reduced to 40km/h, just like schools.

Primary and secondary schools are currently subject to the zones, to protect children from motorists.

But that rule does not apply outside kinders.

Rosanna Kirn, who’s helping with the campaign, spoke with Neil Mitchell on Monday.
