Paramedic’s instant reaction to resignation of Ambulance Victoria CEO

Ambulance Victoria is searching for a new CEO following the resignation of Jane Miller amid an ongoing industrial dispute.

Former Emergency Management Commissioner Andrew Crisp will take on the role on an interim basis while Ms Miller’s successor for the longer term.

Sam (not his real name), who is a paramedic, told Jacqui Felgate he was happy to see change at the top of Ambulance Victoria.

“(Jane Miller’s reaction is) something that needed to happen,” he said on 3AW Drive.

“It’s just another reflection of how dire the situation really is.”
