Owner of property at centre of knife-wielding gang attack breaks silence
The owner of a property who became the centre of a late-night gang attack in Mount Waverley on Friday night has spoken out following the scary incident.
3AW Drive broke the story earlier on Monday, which saw several gangs of youth confront each other on the doorstep of a property in Sadie St after 11pm, with two large knives produced.
Jake (not his real name) – who slammed the door shut and immediately called police – told Jacqui Felgate the attack left over minor bloodied.

“We could hear the screaming and shouting while (the attack) was occurring,” he said on 3AW Drive.
“We just waited for the police to arrive…once we heard things had calmed down we popped out to see what was happened and some a young fella with blood (coming out of his) nose.”
